Infrastructure & Real Estate Stocks Poised to Gain from RBI’s Financing Easing

With regulatory easing and more favorable financing norms, companies in the infrastructure-financing segment are among the most immediate beneficiaries. For instance,

HUDCO
,
IREDA
,REC, and
PFC
saw their shares jump over 5 % after the RBI announced steps to ease infrastructure financing norms. These firms act as conduits for capital flow into large infrastructure projects, so any loosening of lending rules or lowering of provisioning requirements directly helps their balance sheets. On the construction / engineering side, large EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) companies with strong order books—such as Larsen & Toubro (L&T), IRB Infrastructure,KEC International, and
NBCC
—stand to gain if new projects gain traction or if stalled projects can now get cheaper credit. In the real estate and redevelopment space, firms like NBCC (which also handles redevelopment and PMC work) may get incremental benefits from renewed activity in urban / government real estate projects.
