POLYCAB

Polycab India, a substantial player with a market cap of ₹111,000 crore, continues to impress with strong revenue and bottom-line growth, both quarterly and year-on-year. Despite recent market jitters, its December results were solid. Valuations currently sit at a PE of 38, below its median of 44, suggesting it's not overly expensive. Crucially, FIIs and DIIs have been actively buying on dips, while retail investors seem to be selling—a classic sign of institutional accumulation. The stock is down 13% from its high but remains above its 200-day moving average, with support around ₹6700. While historical corrections suggest a potential for further dips in a weaker market, its robust fundamentals and institutional interest make it a strong candidate for long-term value, provided valuations don't soar disproportionately.
