LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED - Quarterly Result Update Q4'25

L&T Q4FY25 results: Profit jumps 25% YoY, beats estimates; recommends ₹34 dividend. Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Larsen & Toubro for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 10.90% to Rs 74392.28 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.90% to 13.28%, leading to 14.13% rise in operating profit to Rs 9,875.94 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 8.40% to 12.10%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.17% to 0.35%. Employee cost increased from 16.25% to 16.67%. Other expenses fell from 62.07% to 57.56%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 4.65% to 4.17%. Stores consumed for sales fell from 1.68% to 1.54%. Expenses from contract fell from 16.43% to 15.02%. Construction development cost fell from 29.06% to 25.57%. Other direct service cost rose from 10.25% to 11.26%. Other income rose 8.96% to Rs 1135.05 crore. PBIDT rose 13.58% to Rs 11010.99 crore. Provision for interest rose 3.15% to Rs 2419.33 crore. PBDT rose 16.90% to Rs 8591.66 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 3.06% to Rs 1052.42 crore. Profit before tax grew 19.14% to Rs 7,539.24 crore. Share of profit/loss was 132.40% higher at Rs 22.38 crore. Extraordinary items were increased to Rs 474.78 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 1880.58 crore, compared to Rs 1418.3 crore. Effective tax rate was 23.40% compared to 22.05%. Minority interest increased 6.73% to Rs 658.56 crore. Net profit attributable to owners of the company increased 25.05% to Rs 5,497.26 crore. • Sales of Infrastructure Projects segment has gone up 2.62% to Rs 39,374.79 crore (accounting for 52.14% of total sales). Sales of IT & Technology Services segment has gone up 11.72% to Rs 12,717.10 crore (accounting for 16.84% of total sales). Sales of Financial Services segment has gone up 5.94% to Rs 3,812.08 crore (accounting for 5.05% of total sales).
