TATA STEEL LIMITED - Quarterly Result Update Q4'25

Tata Steel Q4FY25 profit more than doubles, beats estimates. Net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Steel has declined 4.21% to Rs 56218.11 crore. Sales of Tata Steel India segment has gone down 5.86% to Rs 34,398.84 crore (accounting for 49.54% of total sales). Sales of Other Indian Operations segment has gone up 1.51% to Rs 2,860.56 crore (accounting for 4.12% of total sales). Sales of Tata Steel Europe segment has gone down 2.57% to Rs 19,311.43 crore (accounting for 27.81% of total sales). Sales of Other Trade Related Operations segment has gone down 32.50% to Rs 9,216.08 crore (accounting for 13.27% of total sales). Sales of Rest of the World has gone up 419.66% to Rs 175.28 crore (accounting for 0.25% of total sales). Sales of South East Asian Operations has gone up 7.87% to Rs 2,063.53 crore (accounting for 2.97% of total sales). Sales of Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited segment has gone up 25.81% to Rs 1,417.19 crore (accounting for 2.04% of total sales). Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 17,218.55 crore to Rs 13,224.80 crore. India revenues were Rs 34,661 crore in Q4FY25 and EBITDA was Rs 7,418 crores, which translates to an EBITDA margin of 21%. Crude steel production was 5.44 million tons and moved lower on QoQ basis due to reline of one of the blast furnaces in Jamshedpur. Deliveries stood at 5.60 million tons and were up 6% QoQ. UK revenues were £551 million and EBITDA loss stood at £80 million. Deliveries were 0.63 million tons, up 12% on QoQ basis. Netherlands revenues were €1,624 million and EBITDA was €14 million. Deliveries were 1.75 million tons, up 14% on QoQ basis. Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 7.97% to Rs 6,879.34 crore. PBIT of Tata Steel India segment fell 13.51% to Rs 7,104.93 crore (accounting for 103.28% of total PBIT). PBIT of Other Indian Operations segment fell 3.53% to Rs 185.32 crore (accounting for 2.69% of total PBIT).
