Pace Digitek wins ₹488 crore BESS order.

Pace Digitek Limited (PACEDIGITK) has received a ₹488.46 crore order through its material subsidiary Lineage Power from NTPC GE Power Services. The BESS project covers NTPC’s Barh Super Thermal Power Project Stages I and II. The contract covers BESS containers, battery and energy management systems, testing, erection supervision and commissioning. It also includes five years of annual maintenance and a further seven-year extended warranty. Completion is scheduled for December 31, 2026. My view is that the strategic value of this order is greater than the headline contract value. Pace Digitek is building a larger presence across the BESS value chain, while its installed manufacturing capacity is currently 5 GWh and the company plans to scale this to 10 GWh by Q3 FY2027. The execution pace will determine how much of this opportunity reaches earnings. What to watch next is execution through December 2026 and progress toward the planned 10 GWh capacity. Call/stance: Positive business development, with execution as the key trigger.
