BANKBARODA share price jumps over 4% after Q2 results; should you BUY, SELL or HOLD?
The brokerage noted that BoB’s Q2 profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 4800 crore, broadly in line with expectations. Stronger net interest income ( ) and lower credit costs offset the impact of weaker other income, supporting the quarterly results. According to the report, net interest margin (NIM) improved by 5 basis points (bps) quarter-on-quarter to 2.96 per cent, aided by income tax refunds. Core margins remained stable, while rose 12 per cen year-on-year, though deposit growth lagged slightly at under 10 per cent.
