BI share price: BUY before Rs 25,000 crore QIP?
SBIN share price : India’s largest public sector lender, State Bank of India (SBI ), is likely to witness a strong upside in its share price over the next year, according to CA Tapan Doshi, SEBI-registered research analyst. Speaking on ET NOW Swadesh, Doshi highlighted that the bank’s recent announcement of a massive Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of up to Rs 25,000 crore is a strong signal of growth readiness.
“SBI didn’t need funds urgently. Yet they are going ahead with such a large QIP. That tells us the bank is preparing for growth ahead,” Doshi said, noting that the move reflects confidence in the bank’s forward strategy.
