k shares fall for fourth day

HDFC Bank shares continued to face pressure on Thursday, extending losses for the fourth consecutive trading session. The stock opened lower at Rs 944.70 on the NSE and slipped further to an intraday low of Rs 941.40. However, despite weakness in frontline indices, the stock moved in a narrow range, indicating fresh buying at lower levels. Around 1 PM, HDFC Bank shares were trading marginally lower by 0.25 per cent at Rs 946.65. Trading activity remained strong, with around 1.35 crore shares changing hands by that time on the NSE.
