HDFC Bank Bonus Issue Ex Date: HDFC Bank share price today became cheaper by 50 per cent on account of ex-bonus. Notably, HDFC Bank had earlier announced to issue first-ever bonus shares to its investors in the ratio of 1:1. HDFC Bank had earlier said that its shares will trade ex-date for bonus issue on August 26 (Tuesday) while the record date for the same will be on August 27 (Wednesday). Bonus issue is one of corporate actions wherein companies issue additional shares at no extra cost to their shareholders.
