ITC share price jumps nearly 4% after GST rate tweak

Share Price Target 2025: ITC shares are in action today (Sept 4) following the GST Council 's decision to overhaul the structure. ITC shares opened gap up at Rs 423.95, up nearly 3 per cent from previous close of Rs 411.74 on NSE. The counter made a high of Rs 427 in early trade, up 3.72 per cent. Around 10 AM, ITC shares held firmly in the green at Rs 418.20. As any as 1.48 crore shares of the cigarette manufacturer changed hands around the same time. ITC shares are rising for the past three consecutive trading sessions and trading higher than 5-day, 20-day, 50-day and 100-day moving averages but lower than 200-day moving averages. Other than ITC, other tobacco stocks like VST Industries and Godfrey Phillips India gained up to 4 per cent.
