Shares of NBCC (India) climbed 2.76 per cent to Rs 97.40 after the state-run company reported a strong March quarter performance, driven by a sharp rise in profit despite marginal growth in revenue. The company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 241.38 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26, up 37.22 per cent from the corresponding period last year. Revenue from operations rose 1.81 per cent year-on-year to Rs 4,559.79 crore during the quarter. Profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter increased 37.44 per cent to Rs 342.29 crore compared to the same quarter a year ago.
