PNB Q4FY26: Rs 3 per share dividend announced, profit rises to Rs 5,226 crore; asset quality improves
Punjab National Bank (PNB) announced a dividend of Rs 3 per share along with its Q4 results as the lender reported a steady improvement in profitability and asset quality. The bank posted a rise in net profit and continued to strengthen its balance sheet with lower NPAs and reduced provisioning. PNB reported a net profit of Rs 5,226 crore for Q4, up from Rs 4,567 crore in the year-ago period, reflecting strong operational performance. However, net interest income (NII) declined to Rs 10,380 crore from Rs 10,757 crore on a year-on-year basis, indicating some pressure on core income.
