mps invests ₹12 crore in subsidiary for 2.2 GW solar manufacturing plant

Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has invested ₹ 12,00,00,000 (Rupees Twelve Crore Only) in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions Limited (SESL). The investment is for establishing a greenfield high efficiency solar DCR cell and solar PV modules manufacturing plant. The plant will be located in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, with a production capacity of 2.20 GW. SESL is a Wholly Owned Subsidiary incorporated on 6 September 2010. SESL's turnover was ₹ 216.53 crore for FY25, ₹ 139.59 crore for FY24, and ₹ 99.15 crore for FY23. No government or regulatory approvals are required for this investment. The investment was completed on 14 July 2025.
