Demerger : Tata Motors has announced that the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has sanctioned its Composite Scheme of Arrangement. Under the scheme, Tata Motors will split into two separate companies. Both the companies will list on exchanges. In an exchange filing, Tata Motors said that the certified copy of the order, passed by the Mumbai bench of NCLT, is, however, awaited. Tata Motors is a leading manufacturer of commercial and passenger vehicles and parent of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The Tata company has announced that it will split its business into two companies. The existing company will house its passenger vehicles and parent of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) business. The new company, which will take share as a result of demerger, will house the commercial vehicles business.
