TATAMOTORS JLR Cyberattack: Why Tata stock is falling today? Analyst warns of bearish trend
Tata Motors Share Price : Tata Motors shares on Thursday (September 25) fell more than 2 per cent in early deals, extending losses for the second consecutive session. Today's selling was triggered after a report claimed that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR ) was not insured against a recent cyberattack and that the British luxury carmaker may have to face a Euro 2 billion hit. JLR is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Motors. Following the report, Tata Motors shares opened sharply lower today at Rs 669.90 on NSE versus the previous close of Rs 682.95. The Tata stock made a low of Rs 665 -- down around 2.50 per cent in first 45 minutes of the trade. At 10:10 AM, Tata Motors shares were down 2.40 per cent at Rs 66.40 on NSE. As many as 81 lakh shares of the Tata company changed hands with the counter trading lower than all the key moving averages.
