Vedanta share: Demerger + Dividend! What's happened in Anil Agarwal's company?
VEDL share price : The shares of Anil Agarwal-owned mining conglomerate Vedanta slipped 0.7 per cent due to concerns related to the company's proposed demerger.
On BSE, the stock slipped nearly 0.5 per cent or by Rs 2.30 to trade at Rs 444.50 as of 11:30 AM. The stock also hit an intraday low of Rs 443.80, reflecting a decline of nearly 0.7 per cent.
Vedanata's Demerger
The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) postponed its hearing on the demerger to September 17, as the market regulator SEBI has yet to finalise its examination of the scheme, and the central government has raised objections related to alleged concealment in the proposal.
