Adani Enterprises Ltd, JABIL SIGN AGREEMENT

ADANIENT
Adani Enterprises and US-based manufacturing company Jabil have signed a non-binding agreement to establish a 50:50 joint venture to manufacture artificial intelligence and data centre equipment in India, as demand for computing infrastructure continues to grow. The proposed venture aims to manufacture and assemble a wide range of AI infrastructure products, including AI racks, servers, storage systems, networking equipment, power distribution systems, liquid-cooling solutions and transformers. The JV is envisioned as a multi-gigawatt manufacturing platform catering to both Indian and global markets. Its potential customers will include hyperscalers, neocloud providers, data centre operators and enterprises seeking advanced computing infrastructure. According to the companies, the agreement remains subject to definitive contracts, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. The development follows their announcement in June outlining plans to build an AI and data centre hardware manufacturing ecosystem in India. The memorandum of understanding establishes the framework for the proposed partnership, which aims to strengthen India's AI infrastructure manufacturing capabilities and support the growing demand for computing power. Adani Enterprises and Jabil estimate that the global market opportunity could exceed $3 trillion over the next seven years, driven by rising investments in AI computing infrastructure. Once operational, the joint venture is expected to serve leading players across the global AI ecosystem, with a focus on developing advanced infrastructure in India for both domestic and international markets.
