Bharat Dynamics Shares in Focus After Strong Q1 FY27 Results
$BDL Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) is likely to remain in focus after reporting a strong performance for the June quarter of FY27. The defence company’s standalone revenue from operations rose around 131% year-on-year to ₹572 crore, while net profit jumped more than six times to ₹118.8 crore, compared with ₹18.4 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company also recorded a sharp improvement in operating performance, with EBITDA turning positive and the EBITDA margin improving significantly. BDL’s strong quarterly numbers come against the backdrop of a substantial defence order book, which stood at around ₹26,176 crore as of March 2026, providing visibility for future revenue execution. Investors will now closely track order execution, new order inflows and margins as key drivers for the stock. BDL shares closed at around ₹1,398 on August 14, gaining 1.64% in the session following the results. The strong Q1 performance and robust order pipeline continue to support the company’s growth outlook, although execution remains an important factor to watch.
