ETERNAL SHARES RISE AS IPHONE 18 PRO SALES

ETERNAL
Shares of Eternal rose more than 1.5% on September 18 after its quick-commerce platform Blinkit began selling the Apple iPhone 18 Pro in all four colour variants on launch day. Eternal Group CEO Albinder Dhindsa said on X that Blinkit will also stock the iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12 and AirPods 5 as part of its partnership with Apple. The tie-up will allow customers to receive Apple’s latest products on the day of launch. The service is initially available across 10 cities — Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Lucknow — with additional cities expected to be added. Customers can also access select credit-card discounts and no-cost EMI options on eligible purchases. Dhindsa took over as Group CEO of Eternal, the parent company of Blinkit, in February. The partnership marks a further expansion of Blinkit’s push into high-value electronics, a segment that has become increasingly important for quick-commerce platforms. Unlike sales routed through third-party retailers, the arrangement gives Blinkit a direct partnership with Apple, positioning the platform as a same-day delivery option for major Apple launches alongside traditional retail and e-commerce channels.
