Indoco Remedies said its Plant I solid-dosage manufacturing facility in Goa successfully completed a UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (UK-MHRA) inspection conducted from September 7 to September 9, 2026. The inspection concluded with no critical or major observations, marking a positive regulatory outcome for the company.
The Goa facility supplies regulated markets including the UK, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Canada, and contributes around 30% of Indoco’s international business. The plant manufactures solid and liquid dosage products and holds multiple international regulatory certifications, including USFDA, TGA Australia, EU Malta, WHO-GMP and SAHPRA approvals.
The positive UK-MHRA outcome comes shortly after a separate USFDA inspection of Indoco’s Plant II sterile facility in Goa, conducted from August 27 to September 4, which resulted in seven observations. The company is therefore likely to remain under investor focus as the market assesses the regulatory status and quality-compliance trajectory across its manufacturing facilities.
Indoco Remedies shares closed at around ₹263.02 on September 11, according to market data, after gaining during the session. The successful UK-MHRA inspection is a positive development for the company’s international operations, although investors will continue to monitor the company’s response to the USFDA observations and their potential impact on regulated-market supplies.#StockInNews
