The PFL Employee Welfare Trust sold shares worth ₹223 crore in Poonawalla Fincorp, while Goldman Sachs picked up a stake worth ₹100 crore in Sudeep Pharma through open market transactions on August 4. According to block deal data, the PFL Employee Welfare Trust offloaded 47.08 lakh shares, representing a 0.53% stake in Poonawalla Fincorp, for ₹222.96 crore. The trust, which manages company shares for employee welfare, sold the shares at ₹473.50 apiece. The buyers included Sundaram Mutual Fund, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Helios Mutual Fund, and Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte. Following the transaction, Poonawalla Fincorp shares ended 0.48% lower at ₹469.65 on the National Stock Exchange. In a separate transaction, Goldman Sachs acquired 11.76 lakh shares of Sudeep Pharma for around ₹100 crore at ₹850 per share. The shares were sold by Nuvama Crossover Opportunities Fund – Series III and Series IIIA, which offloaded 6.14 lakh and 5.62 lakh shares, respectively. As of June 2026, the two funds held 2.95% and 2.57% stakes in the company. Rajgor Castor Derivatives also witnessed block deal activity. Unicorn Fund sold 8.97 lakh shares, equivalent to a 3.75% stake, for ₹2.95 crore at ₹32.94 per share. As of March 2026, the fund owned a 5.76% stake, or 13.77 lakh shares, in the company. Meanwhile, Alchemy Capital Management's Alchemy Long Term Ventures Fund Series 3 acquired 2.06 lakh shares of Aimtron for ₹30.48 crore at ₹1,480 per share. On the other side of the transaction, promoter Mukesh Jeram Vasani sold 2.10 lakh shares at ₹1,480.09 apiece, amounting to ₹31.08 crore.
