RAILTEL
RailTel Corporation of India is likely to remain in focus after the company received a work order worth ₹166.80 crore, including taxes, from the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation. The order involves a one-year extension of the existing contract for providing Infrastructure-as-a-Service through RailTel. The order is scheduled to be executed by February 9, 2027.
The company had also secured a ₹63 crore work order from the Deendayal Port Authority on August 12, excluding taxes. RailTel reported largely unchanged net profit of ₹66 crore year-on-year for the quarter ended June 2026. Revenue, however, rose 20.1% in the corresponding period last year.
In the previous trading session, RailTel shares closed down at 0.98%. The stock has touched a 52-week high of ₹413.10 and a low of ₹244.95. At its previous close, the stock was 32.91%. The company currently has a market capitalisation of approximately ₹8,894.81 crore.#StockInNews
