Bandhan Bank adopts cautious MFI strategy, shifts focus to secured lending

Bandhan Bank, headquartered in Kolkata, is taking a cautious and balanced approach to growth, according to its MD & CEO Partha Pratim Sengupta. The bank has moderated its outlook for the microfinance (MFI) segment, known internally as the Emerging Entrepreneurs Business (EEB), due to ongoing industry-wide challenges.
