Hyundai India Slashes Car Prices By Up To Rs 2.4 Lakh After GST Cut

Hyundai Motor India on Sunday announced that it will pass on the full benefit of the recent GST reforms to its customers, offering significant price cuts across its passenger vehicle range. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, just ahead of the festive season. With the revised pricing, Hyundai cars and SUVs will become cheaper by up to Rs 2.4 lakh. The biggest reduction will be on the Hyundai Tucson, which will see a price cut of Rs 2,40,303. Other popular models such as the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, Exter, i20, Venue, Verna, Creta, and Alcazar will also see substantial reductions ranging from around Rs 60,000 to over Rs 1.2 lakh. Unsoo Kim, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the company welcomes the government's move to reduce GST on passenger vehicles.
