TCS Skips Meet With Labour Commissioner On Layoffs, But Shares Update On Delay In Onboarding Hires

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. missed its meeting with the Chief Labour Commissioner on Friday, but submitted a written response through e-mail, Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate said in a statement. The joint discussion was scheduled in New Delhi after NITES—an IT employees' body—bought the issue of layoff of 1,200 employees and delayed onboarding of 600 employees before the Minister.
