Nifty April 2025 futures closed at 22504.00 (LTP) on Wednesday, at a premium of 104.85 points over spot closing of 22399.15, while Nifty May 2025 futures ended at 22619.90 (LTP), at a premium of 220.75 points over spot closing. Nifty April futures saw a contraction of 1,787 units, taking the total open interest (Contracts) to 1,77,290 units. The near month derivatives contract will expire on April 24, 2025.
