NATIONALUM
Aluminium Company (Nalco) is exploring a joint venture partnership with state-owned Coal India and power major NTPC for securing coal supply for its proposed Rs 12,000-crore power plant in Odisha. Both the power plant and the smelter unit are part of its long-term expansion plans. Nalco has lined up an investment of Rs 30,000 crore to set up a new aluminium smelter and a coal-based power plant over the next five years. Out of this, Rs 18,000 crore has been earmarked for the smelter and Rs 12,000 crore will be spent on the thermal power plant.
LEMONTREE
Tree Hotels has signed new property -- Lemon Tree Hotel, Mohkampur, Dehradun. This property shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Lemon Tree Hotel, Mohkampur, Dehradun will feature 98 well-appointed rooms, a restaurant, a lounge, a conference room, a swimming pool, a fitness center and other recreational facilities. Infosys has entered into strategic collaboration with Mastercard to offer financial institutions enhanced access to Mastercard Move, its portfolio of money movement capabilities. The solution’s seamless integration with Infosys Finacle, part of EdgeVerve Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Infosys, will play a key role in creating an efficient pathway for financial institutions to access Mastercard Move's cross-border capabilities in a fraction of the typical implementation time and without the intensive resourcing traditionally needed for integration projects. Kings Infra Ventures has raised Rs 79.50 lakh through the allotment of Sixth tranche of 7950 Unlisted Secured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value of Rs 1,000 each, on private placement basis. The Debenture Committee of the company has, at its meeting held on August 28, 2025, allotted the same.
