JLR Halts US Exports Amid New Trading Terms Shares of

Ltd are in focus as its UK-based arm Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has stopped shipments to the US, following the 25% tariffs announced by the US on all auto and auto component imports. JLR's volume exposure to the US had increased to 33% in the first 9 months of the current fiscal year. "As we work to address the new trading terms with our business partners, we are taking some short-term actions, including a shipment pause in April, as we develop our mid- to longer-term plans," JLR said in an emailed statement. JLR's Performance in Key Markets In the US, JLR's sales increased by 39% year-on-year in the first 11 months, and its market share among premium OEMs increased to 10.9% from 8.4% in the previous fiscal year. However, in the UK, JLR's sales were up 6.6% year-on-year, with a stable market share of 17.4%. In Europe, JLR's sales decreased 2% year-on-year, and its market share declined to 6.1% from 6.6% in the previous fiscal year.
