Update for investors of $POWERGRID

$POWERGRID is currently trading at Rs. 285.30, up by 0.15 points or 0.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 285.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 286.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 286.80 and Rs. 283.30 respectively. So far 485287 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 324.80 on 27-Apr-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 250.05 on 02-Feb-2026. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 290.45 and Rs. 282.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 264648.68 crore. The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.14% and 3.50% respectively. Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) has been declared as successful bidder under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding to establish Inter-State Transmission System for the project namely ‘WR-ER Inter-Regional Network Expansion Scheme Part-A’ on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) basis. The Letter of Intent (LoI) has been received by POWERGRID on June 16, 2026. The project comprises establishment of 2 new 765/400kV Sub-stations in the states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, respectively. Further, the project involves extension of existing Sub-stations in the states of Chhattisgarh and West Bengal along with construction of 765kV & 400kV transmission line traversing through the states of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Power Grid Corporation of India is an Indian state-owned electric utilities company headquartered in Gurgaon, India.
