What are pros and cons of fractional share investing?

Fractional shares let investors buy a small portion of an expensive stock, making investing more accessible to beginners or those with limited funds. Instead of needing thousands to buy one share of a big company like Amazon or Tesla, you can invest with just a few hundred or even less. This helps in diversification and learning about the stock market with low risk. However, there are some downsides. You usually don’t get voting rights on company decisions if you own only a fraction. Not all brokers support selling fractional shares easily, which can limit liquidity. Also, small investors may over-diversify without understanding the risks. While fractional investing is great for access and flexibility, investors should still research and plan their investments wisely.
