Ashoka Buildcon JV Bags ₹1,041 Crore Mumbai Flyover Project
Ashoka Buildcon Limited, through its joint venture M/s Ashoka-Aakshaya JV with Aakshaya Infra Projects (51:49 stake), has secured a ₹1,041.44 crore EPC order from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for constructing a flyover connecting J.J. Bridge and Sitaram Selam (Y Bridge) in Mumbai’s E Ward.
The project aims to decongest traffic at a key junction and improve urban connectivity. Scheduled for completion in 24 months, the timeline excludes monsoon periods to ensure construction quality and safety.
This win underscores Ashoka Buildcon’s strong presence in India’s urban infrastructure space. The contract is not a related-party transaction and was awarded on an arm’s-length basis.
Compliant with SEBI LODR regulations, the company has disclosed the development transparently, reinforcing its track record in securing high-impact civic projects in major metropolitan areas.
