AU Small Finance Bank Launches UPI-Integrated AU KOSMO Credit Card

AU Small Finance Bank has launched the AU KOSMO Credit Card, a digital-first credit card built on the RuPay network in partnership with Kiwi, a Credit-on-UPI platform. The card allows users to make credit payments via UPI at online and offline merchants—without needing a physical card. Key features include rewards on UPI transactions, a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, and no annual or renewal fees, making it ideal for first-time credit users, young professionals, and tech-savvy customers. Onboarding is fully digital, ensuring a seamless experience. The launch aligns with rising adoption of UPI (P2M payments hit ₹7.2 lakh crore in August) and RuPay’s growing 12% credit market share. With over 2,500 banking touchpoints and a loan book of ₹1.17 lakh crore, AU aims to boost financial inclusion and digital payments across urban and rural India. By merging credit access with UPI convenience, AU sets a new trend in digital banking—offering cost-effective, innovative solutions while reducing card production costs. The move strengthens its push toward scalable, inclusive finance.
