Axiscades Partners with OGMA; Adani Group Ties Up with Embraer for Aircraft Manufacturing in India

Axiscades Technologies has entered a strategic MoU with OGMA – Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal, a subsidiary of Embraer, to strengthen aerospace and defence MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) capabilities. The partnership combines Axiscades’ expertise in aircraft design, avionics, electronic warfare, and drones with OGMA’s century-old airframe and engine MRO experience. It aims to deliver certified engineering services for commercial and military platforms across India, UAE, and the MENA region, while also supporting Embraer’s fleet operations in India. In parallel, the Adani Group has announced a landmark partnership with Embraer to establish a regional transport aircraft manufacturing facility in India, marking Adani Defence’s entry into commercial aviation manufacturing. This MoU aligns with India’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative and aims to build a complete aviation ecosystem, including component production, supply chain development, and pilot training. The move underscores growing private-sector ambition in India’s aerospace sector, with both partnerships targeting high-value opportunities in domestic and global markets. While financial details remain undisclosed, these collaborations signal a major step toward expanding India’s footprint in global aerospace manufacturing and MRO services.
