Bharat Forge, BEML & Data Patterns Partner for AMCA Project
Bharat Forge Limited has entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BEML Limited and Data Patterns (India) Limited to jointly pursue opportunities in the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme. The collaboration was formalized in Pune and aims to respond to the Expression of Interest (EoI) issued by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA).
This strategic alliance combines Bharat Forge’s expertise in precision forging and aerospace components, BEML’s defense manufacturing capabilities, and Data Patterns’ strength in defense electronics and avionics, positioning the trio as a strong contender in India’s flagship indigenous fighter jet project.
The AMCA is a fifth-generation stealth aircraft initiative critical to India’s future air defense and self-reliance in defense tech. The partnership underscores growing private-public synergy in advancing India’s aerospace and defense ecosystem.
Bharat Forge disclosed the MoU under SEBI norms and also announced a closure of its trading window ahead of quarterly results. If successful, this collaboration could play a pivotal role in shaping India’s next-gen combat aviation capability.
