Ceigall Infra Emerges L1 for ₹2,160 Crore NHAI Highway Project; Adds to Strong Order Book

Ceigall India’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects, has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a ₹2,160 crore highway project awarded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project entails the four-laning of the 78.942 km Sahebganj–Areraj–Bettiah stretch of NH-139W in Bihar under the Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), split into two sections. The work includes a 730-day construction period, followed by a 15-year operation and maintenance (O&M) phase. Once the Letter of Award is issued and the contract signed, the project will significantly boost Ceigall’s order book in the roads sector. This win follows another recent success — a ₹918 crore elevated metro viaduct and 10-station project for Jaipur Metro Phase-II, secured on January 16, with a 34-month execution timeline. With no promoter interest in NHAI and confirmed non-related-party status, the transparent award reinforces Ceigall’s growing reputation in infrastructure development. These back-to-back wins underscore its expanding capabilities in large-scale, high-value transport infrastructure across highways and urban transit systems.
