Diamond Power Infrastructure Secures ₹185 Crore Conductor Order from Adani Energy Solutions
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL) has secured a variable-price contract worth ₹185.16 crore (₹218.49 crore incl. GST) from Adani Energy Solutions for the supply of power transmission conductors.
Key Deal Highlights:
Scope of Supply: 4,820 km of conductors, comprising 1,050 km of AL59 Moose and 3,770 km of AL59 Zebra.
Execution Timeline: 8-month delivery window from July 2026 to February 2027.
Pricing Mechanism: Variable pricing linked to LME aluminium rates and USD/INR currency movements.
Strategic Context & Operational Readiness:
Capacity Boost: DPIL recently commissioned its 8th MV/EHV production line in June 2026, significantly enhancing its capacity to execute large transmission orders.
Clean Balance Sheet: Following a landmark legal discharge in May 2026 (releasing over ₹1,000 crore of frozen assets), the company has cleared past regulatory overhangs, allowing full focus on order execution.
Market Outlook:
This order reinforces the robust capex cycle in India’s domestic transmission and distribution (T&D) sector. With an expanding order book (crossed ₹3,498 crore in FY26) and optimized manufacturing capacity, DPIL is well-positioned to convert these wins into high-margin revenue.
