Diamond Power Secures ₹52.86 Cr Data Centre Order
Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited has secured a domestic contract worth ₹52.86 crore from Aurionpro Solutions Limited for the supply of specialized electrical cables to a hyperscale data centre campus in Hyderabad (HYD-20 package).
Key Highlights:
Order Scope: Supply of approximately 130 km of cables, predominantly featuring high-density 1100 V grade XLPE-insulated FRLS copper conductor cables.
Robust Order Book: This win pushes the company’s cumulative data centre project order book to over ₹575 crore, contributing to a strong total order book of ₹3,688 crore (as of August 11, 2026).
Financial Strengthening: The company recently restored its minimum public shareholding (from 15.98% to 25.97%) following a successful ₹1,615 crore QIP, bolstering its balance sheet for execution.
Strategic Rationale:
Validating New Capabilities: This order directly validates the company’s recent capital allocation, as it leverages its newly commissioned 1,500 MT/month copper cable line in Vadodara (operational from August 20, 2026).
Margin Expansion: Transitioning from a primary reliance on aluminium conductors to specialized copper cables allows Diamond Power to tap into premium, high-margin applications with stringent fire-performance and reliability standards.
Market Implications & Outlook:
India’s hyperscale data centre boom is driving a highly specialized demand cycle for critical power infrastructure. By securing early qualifications in this niche, Diamond Power is well-positioned to command better pricing and capture lucrative market share. The immediate focus now shifts to efficient execution to convert its substantial ₹3,688 crore order book into realized revenue.
