GMM Pfaudler Restructures into 4 Global Divisions; Hits Record ₹2,289 Cr Order Backlog
GMM Pfaudler Limited has announced a major strategic reorganization, transitioning from a geographically focused model to four unified global technology divisions: Corrosion Resistance Technologies (CRT), Process Performance Technologies (PPT), Heavy Engineering Technologies (HET), and Process Systems Technologies (PST). Key Highlights: Record Order Book: The company closed Q1 FY27 with a record backlog of ₹2,289 crore (+20% YoY), supported by a robust order intake of over ₹1,007 crore. With most projects now having 10–12 month execution cycles, near-term revenue visibility is exceptionally strong. Division Momentum: PPT and PST led growth with revenue up 23% and 46% YoY, respectively. Notably, the HET division saw a massive 700% YoY surge in order intake, signaling strong future demand. Q1 FY27 Financials: Consolidated revenue grew 16% YoY to ₹925 crore. While EBITDA dipped 7% YoY to ₹94 crore (due to pricing pressures and restructuring investments), it rebounded 25% QoQ. Profit After Tax (PAT) more than doubled to ₹22 crore. Strategic Outlook: Management is actively prioritizing balance sheet strengthening, targeting the repayment of ~EUR 7 million in debt by the end of Q2. Coupled with initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cost management, GMM Pfaudler is well-positioned to achieve its target of sustaining 15%+ EBITDA margins and delivering meaningful margin expansion in the coming quarters. $GMMPFAUDLR
