Havells to Fully Own US HVAC Unit with Acquisition of 20% Stake

Havells International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Havells India Limited, has announced the acquisition of the remaining 20% stake in Havells HVAC LLC from its joint venture partner, Salesmark Ventures LLC. This move will make Havells HVAC LLC a fully owned subsidiary, strengthening Havells’ control over its HVAC business in the US market. Originally established as an 80:20 joint venture, Havells HVAC LLC markets and sells portable air conditioners and accessories under Havells’ brands in the United States. The buyout reflects Havells’ confidence in the US market and its long-term growth strategy in the premium HVAC segment. With full ownership, Havells gains streamlined decision-making, enhanced strategic control, and greater flexibility in scaling operations.
