India Pesticides Posts Strong Q2 Growth with 26.6% Revenue Rise
India Pesticides Limited (IPL) reported robust financial performance for Q2 FY25, with revenue up 26.6% YoY to ₹2,900 crore and net profit rising 21% to ₹320.4 crore. The company’s EBITDA surged 44.7% to ₹491 crore, with EBITDA margin improving 212 bps to 16.95%, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and pricing power.
The growth underscores IPL’s strong market position in the agrochemical sector, driven by healthy demand and effective cost management.
In a move reinforcing corporate governance, the board re-appointed two key independent directors—Dr. Madhu Dikshit (scientist) and Mr. Mohan Tanksale (banking veteran)—for a second five-year term, signaling stability and strategic continuity.
The company also complied with tax norms, filing returns for the block period (April 2018–Feb 2025) and depositing ₹0.18 crore in assessed tax, pending final assessment.
With solid financials, experienced leadership, and regulatory compliance, IPL is well-positioned to sustain momentum in India’s growing agrochemical landscape.
