JSW Energy Adds 114 MW of Renewables, Reaches 13.2 GW Total Capacity

JSW Energy has commissioned 114 MW of new renewable capacity—comprising 93 MW wind and 21 MW solar—taking its total installed capacity to 13.2 GW. This brings its Q2 FY26 organic renewable addition to 443 MW, including 20 MW of floating solar at Vijayanagar. With this expansion, renewables now account for 57% of the company’s portfolio, which stands at 3,709 MW wind, 2,213 MW solar, and 1,631 MW hydro. JSW Energy is aggressively scaling up, with 12.5 GW under construction and a long-term target of 30 GW generation and 40 GWh storage by 2030—including 29.4 GWh in energy storage (26.4 GWh pumped hydro + 3 GWh battery). The company also aims for carbon neutrality by 2050. This growth underscores JSW Energy’s leadership in India’s clean energy transition, reinforcing its commitment to a sustainable, diversified power future.
