JSW Infrastructure Aims to Double Cargo Capacity to 400 MTPA by FY30

JSW Infrastructure has unveiled an ambitious expansion plan to increase its cargo handling capacity to 400 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) by FY2030, up from the current 177 MTPA—a massive 126% jump. This strategic move underscores the company’s confidence in India’s long-term trade and industrial growth. The planned addition of 223 MTPA in capacity positions JSW Infrastructure as a key player in meeting rising port demand, driven by increasing domestic consumption, manufacturing activity, and government-led infrastructure development. By more than doubling its operational scale, the company aims to strengthen its footprint in India’s marine port sector, enhance service offerings, and capture greater market share in bulk and multi-cargo logistics. This aggressive capacity buildout reflects JSW Infrastructure’s forward-looking strategy to align with national growth trends and solidify its position as a leading private port operator in India.
