KEC International Shares Surge 7% on Strong Order Wins and Robust Q1 Performance

KEC International’s share price rose nearly 7% to ₹830.90 on the NSE, driven by the announcement of new orders worth ₹1,402 crore across key business segments. The wins include a 765 kV transmission line project from a major private player in India under its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment, along with orders for towers, hardware, and poles in the Americas. The Civil business secured a repeat order for a high-rise residential project in North India, while the Cables & Conductors division bagged multiple domestic and international supply contracts. With these additions, KEC’s year-to-date (YTD) order intake crossed ₹8,400 crore, reinforcing its growth pipeline. MD & CEO Vimal Kejriwal highlighted confidence in sustained momentum, especially with repeat orders from reputed developers. The company also delivered a strong Q1 FY26 performance, reporting a 42% YoY jump in net profit to ₹124.6 crore on 11% higher revenue of ₹5,022.88 crore. It had already secured ₹5,517 crore in orders during the quarter, underscoring robust demand across geographies and segments.
