NCC's Major Metro Contract Win

NCC Limited, a leading civil construction firm, has secured a significant ₹2,269 crore contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for Mumbai Metro Line 6 – Package 1-CA-232 . The project involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of rolling stock, communication-based signaling, train control systems, telecom infrastructure, platform screen doors, and depot machinery . The work is scheduled over 24 months, with additional maintenance periods. This order strengthens NCC’s growing order book, following recent wins totaling ₹1,690.5 crore. However, the win underscores NCC’s expanding role in India’s urban infrastructure development.
