NLC India Secures 110 MW Solar Project from NCRTC in Uttar Pradesh
NLC India Limited has won a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV project from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) in Uttar Pradesh, marking a significant addition to its renewable energy portfolio. The company has received a Letter of Acceptance for this captive solar power project, which will supply electricity directly to NCRTC under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
The project must achieve commercial operation within 24 months from the PPA’s effective date, ensuring timely delivery to support NCRTC’s energy needs for regional transport infrastructure.
This win underscores NLC India’s growing footprint in the solar sector and strengthens its role in India’s clean energy transition. The contract is at arm’s length with no related-party involvement, ensuring transparent and competitive terms.
Compliant with SEBI LODR regulations, the announcement highlights NLC India’s strategic push into renewables while supporting public infrastructure with sustainable, cost-effective power.
