NMDC Posts Strong November Performance with 11% Production Growth
NMDC Limited, India’s largest iron ore producer, reported robust operational performance for November 2025, with provisional output reaching 5.01 million tonnes (MT)—an 11% increase year-on-year from 4.51 MT in November 2024. Sales are estimated at 4.17 MT, up 4% from 4.0 MT in the same period last year.
For the first eight months of FY2026 (April–November), NMDC recorded cumulative production of 31.48 MT and sales of 30.28 MT, significantly higher than 26.06 MT and 27.84 MT respectively in the same period of FY2025.
The growth reflects strong domestic demand for iron ore, driven by ongoing infrastructure development and steel production. Operations in Chhattisgarh continue to be the core contributor to output.
The positive trends in production and sales signal healthy market conditions and efficient operations, boding well for NMDC’s financial performance in H2 FY26. Investors will monitor actuals and pricing trends in upcoming quarterly results.
