NTPC Green Energy Commissions 150 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

NTPC Green Energy Limited has brought 150 MW of solar capacity into commercial operation in Rajasthan, effective April 18, 2026. The project, developed by Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited — a step-down subsidiary of the ONGC-NTPC Green joint venture — is part of a larger 300 MW solar installation. With this addition, NTPC Green Energy's total operational capacity has risen to 10,276.40 MW, up from 10,126.40 MW, reinforcing its position as a leading renewable energy player in India. The commissioning underscores the company's aggressive expansion strategy in solar power and its commitment to supporting India's clean energy transition.
