Premier Energies Launches 620W DCR-Compliant TOPCon Solar Modules, Commences 1.2 GW G12R Cell Line
Premier Energies has achieved a major milestone in India’s solar sector with the launch of its high-efficiency 620W Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant TOPCon solar modules, alongside the commercial operation of its 1.2 GW N-Type G12R solar cell line—a first in India.
The new Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TOPCon) modules offer higher power density, better temperature performance, and improved low-light efficiency, outperforming conventional PERC modules. Designed in a rectangular G12R format, they are optimized for utility-scale parks, commercial, and industrial rooftop applications.
Built to endure India’s harsh conditions—high heat, humidity, dust, and strong winds—these modules enhance energy yield and durability, supporting the nation’s clean energy transition.
CEO Chiranjeev Saluja called the launch a pivotal step toward high-efficiency solar adoption, aligning with rising demand for advanced, indigenously manufactured solar technology. This advancement strengthens Premier Energies’ leadership in India’s push for self-reliance and next-gen solar innovation.
