Sarda Energy Gets Environmental Clearance for 300 TPH Coal Handling Plant

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd (SEML) has received Consent to Operate from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board for its Coal Handling Plant at the Gare Palma IV/7 Coal Mine. The clearance covers both air and water pollution control norms, complying with key environmental laws. The plant has a capacity of 300 TPH (tonnes per hour) and an annual throughput of 18 lakh metric tonnes, enabling SEML to scale coal handling operations significantly. This regulatory nod underscores SEML’s commitment to environmental compliance and sustainable mining practices. It paves the way for enhanced production, potentially boosting revenue and operational efficiency at one of its key mining assets. SEML has disclosed the development in line with SEBI norms.
