The order, valued at ₹407.51 crore (ex-GST) or ₹443.78 crore inclusive, covers 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP pump capacities tailored for agricultural use. The project includes end-to-end execution—design, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning—with a tight timeline of 60 days from work order issuance. This large-scale win highlights Shakti Pumps’ growing strength in the solar irrigation space and its capability to deliver complex, government-backed renewable energy projects. The scheme aims to boost energy independence for farmers and reduce grid load through solar-powered agriculture. Notably, the company confirmed the order was awarded on an arm’s length basis with no related-party involvement.
